ABOUT
Franck Helaine is an independent music composer. His influences range from synthwave and disco to ambient and orchestration.
He has produced soundtracks for several short films, plays and documentaries.
After a career in UX design, he decided to make music his main activity. This decision took place at the end of 2023 with a short film entitled BangBang, produced by Cobbler Pictures Films, for which he composed 14 tracks in a space disco, funk and soul style. He will be nominated at the Cabane à sang festival (Montreal) for the title "BEST SCI-FI MOVIE".
He is also behind the Like a Droid profile (+50K streams), a personal work to which he has devoted his spare time for 16 years.
Although he has no formal academic education, his sensitivity and curiosity have enabled him to develop in-depth skills. In addition to composing, he is also involved in the process of mixing and mastering process of his tracks, always striving to perfect every detail.
